Couples counselling.......Eating disorders. In addition, I have taught Counselling Skills at Further Education Colleges up to and including first year Diploma Level. I have also enjoyed facilitating, ‘Life style’ teaching within local Community Centres, including, ‘Anger & Conflict Management’, ‘Mental & Physical Health’, ‘Assertiveness’, ‘Stress Awareness’ and many more. I am registered and work as an Affiliate Clinician with a National Company providing Employment Assistance through the E.A.P. programme and have found this valuable in challenging my skills, as generally I have to work to a strict time frame, using brief focussed therapy or cognitive behavioural therapy. Prior to establishing my own private practice, I had considerable experience working with voluntary organisations providing counselling support for GP referrals and the wider community. |
