SupervisionSupervision is about support. The BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists) states that ethically, every counsellor needs supervision; this provides a safe and confidential space to feel supported and explore with the supervisor their case loads. The BACP Information Sheet (S2) explains that:
Trainee Counsellors, and others needing to understand the role of Supervision, can be assured that in addition to being a BACP Accredited Supervisor,I have 15 years experience working with supervisees from a diverse range of organisations, voluntary bodies and private practice. |
